We did.
It starts at 15:00 here, a perfect time of the day.
SO, did the right song win?
Well, I was really rooting for Finland. But that was a no go, sadly.
I am pleased with the winner. That song is catchy.
And how about Sweden placing THAT low?? That was a bit unexpected.
Anyway, it was fun watching it, it always is.
The rest of the weekend was good as well.
A good friend came over for dinner Friday night.
Saturday, Peter and I took a longer walk and ended it with a lunch at Bar Taco in Reston Town Center.
The weather is nice and warm (hot actually) right now.
It’ll change soon and go back to cooler temps, grayness and some rain đ.
So I am enjoying these hot days we’re having by the moment.

These pics are from our walk to Reston Town Center. Look at the turtles baskin in the sun. Wild turtles are still exotic to me after all these years.

Foods that we have been enjoying over the weekend. Ahi tuna tacos (SOOOO GOOD). fish tacos, chips and salsas and guac + a wonderful poke bowl. YUMMMMIEEE!!
In the wintertime this is an ice skating rink. Now it is a place to hang out. And every Saturday there's a free concert at RTC, all summer long.
Such fun rock formations being found in different front yards near Lake Anne Plaza. Inspiring to say the least. I love the lady sunbathing in her bikini. It inspires me to paint something similar and place it here in my own front yard.

Ălskar pioner, vĂ„ra har lĂ„ngt kvar innan de stĂ„r i blom, kan ju bero pĂ„ att det inte varit nĂ„gon vĂ€rme att tala om nu i maj, men nu verkar det vĂ€nda och vi ska visst fĂ„ uppĂ„t +20 mot helgen. SĂ„ till helgen blir det Ă€ntligen till att grilla nĂ„got gott, som jag har lĂ€ngtat.

Lunchen pÄ er promenad sÄg verkligen god ut. Fishtaco Àr gott, men inget vi lagat hemma.
