I hope your weekend was good!

Did you watch the ESC?

We did. It starts at 15:00 here, a perfect time of the day.

SO, did the right song win?

Well, I was really rooting for Finland. But that was a no go, sadly.

I am pleased with the winner. That song is catchy. 

And how about Sweden placing THAT low?? That was a bit unexpected. 

Anyway, it was fun watching it, it always is. 

The rest of the weekend was good as well.

A good friend came over for dinner Friday night.

Saturday, Peter and I took a longer walk and ended it with a lunch at Bar Taco in Reston Town Center. 

The weather is nice and warm (hot actually) right now. It’ll change soon and go back to cooler temps, grayness and some rain 😔. So I am enjoying these hot days we’re having by the moment.

It was an art fair being held on the streets of the Town Center over the weekend.  

Foods that we have been enjoying over the weekend. Ahi tuna tacos (SOOOO GOOD). fish tacos, chips and salsas and guac + a wonderful poke bowl. YUMMMMIEEE!!

In the wintertime this is an ice skating rink.  Now it is a place to hang out.  And every Saturday there's a free concert at RTC, all summer long.

Sunday walk at Lake Anne here in Reston.

Despite the clouds it was very warm.

This is a pretty area, it is the first part being built in Reston back in 1964.

Lake Anne.

Such fun rock formations being found in different front yards near Lake Anne Plaza. Inspiring to say the least. I love the lady sunbathing in her bikini.  It inspires me to paint something similar and place it here  in my own front yard.

Nature is lush now.
