Did you all have a nice weekend?
We had a good one.
With a CRAZY temperature drop of 17 degrees C, or 31F. It is weird!!
On Saturday it was 28 C, or 83 F.
Sunday it was 11 C, or 52 F.
It is strange.
So AC OFF in the house, heat ON--AGAIN.
It is a fact, the weather is getting more and more extreme.
Personally, I am kind of happy that the heatwave we had is gone for now. The heat will return, of course. But I am so content with cooler temps.
We even have a freeze warning this week. Nuts.
What I’ll do this week-- planting all the pots, and barrel, in my front yard.
I will also decorate my little yard (Täppan) with all kinds of whimsical seasonal artifacts.
The thing is, it has to be cozy and cute even outside.
Another thing I’ll tackle this week is the sealing of the deck, I’ll figure it’ll take two sessions.
But that is what I’ll do. It'll be so nice once it is done.
Then come Saturday, Peter and I can set up the deck for the season!!
I cannot wait. The deck turns into our extra room during the warm season.

Being the freak that I am, I already know that we are late with the deck set-up this year.
I always jot down, year after year, what date we have the deck ready for the season. I also put a note on what date we winterize it.
I also know exactly each year when we turn the AC on in the spring. I also know when the heat in the house goes on for the first time in the fall.
I know exactly what date I switch my wardrobes in the spring and fall. I did that on Saturday, by the way. So now it is summer in my closet ...
All I have to do is to go back to my diaries and check.

Jisus vilket väder ni har, verkligen upp och ner och lite rädd blir man ju med alla dessa märkliga temperaturer. Vi har också haft upp mot +24 grader och i inlandet uppåt +28, helt galet i april.
Göra i ordning utomhus väntar för oss från 1 maj, vi åker hem den 30 april och får då sätta igång direkt med det jobbet, blir nog mest min man som får göra utomhus, ha ha.
Bra att skriva dagbok, själv kollar jag på bilder på mobilen för att komma ihåg saker och ting. Fick en jättefin 10-års dagbok av gamla jobbarkompisar när jag slutade jobba men den har tyvärr bara blivit liggande på en hylla.
Blir spännande att se hur långt våren hemma har kommit, vet att vitsipporna blommar och körsbärsträden i Kungsan står i blom. I vår lilla täppa har både pionerna och rabarbern tittat upp för drygt en vecka sedan. Maj är oftast en helt underbar månad hemma som jag inte vill vara utan och vi är alltid hemma då ända till skolorna slutar.
