How was your weekend, friends?
I hope it was good, relaxing and fun.
If not, a new weekend is lurking just around the corner, that is always good to know.
Our weekend was good, slightly on the cooler side.
We have turned our AC off. We’ll might have to switch it on again later this week (it'll, temporary, be up to 90F, 32 C later this week).
However, it really is fall now. AND Yours Truly is loving it.
Saturday we ventured out to a winery.
Our friends, Susanna and Marc, came along.
It turned out to be one of the better wineries we’ve been to.
A wonderful venue in the mountains.
The place is called Naked Mountain Winery.
We sat in the barn, one whole wall opened up to the view and we were sheltered from the wind and sun.
Virginia wine is nothing to write home about, but the wineries are SOOO cozy and nice. And yes, the wine does taste nice in the moment. I am so thankful that we have sooo many vineyards to pick from in our area.

We were enjoying our wine and food for a couple of hours before we headed back to Susanna and Marc’s for some more hanging out. It ended with us Gen-X:ers deep diving into 80’s music in front of YouTube on the TV-screen, fun!!!
Sunday was rainy and a bit cool as well.
It was the regular doings, the weekly grocery shopping and some fixings around the house.
Because you know, every day life (and that is nothing but a GOOD thing)
And now, we’re in the bitter end of September.
WHAT on earth happened to this month?
Where did it go?
OH I know, I know exactly where it went. It went in the best way possible.

Vilken fin utsikt ni hade under provningen, sånt är kul. När vi var i San Fransisco var vi i Napa Valley en dag och där fanns gott vin och jag köpte världens sötaste glas till typ en sipp av likör el liknande. Även en affisch med en massa vackra dörrar som fanns där fick följa med som vi lämnade in för inramning när vi kom hem, blev jättefint vid sidan om vinkylen.
Här fortsätter högsommarvärmen med 27-30 grader om dagarna, men nu hotas med litet värmeomslag med lite regn så vi får se om det blir så.
