For about three weeks my posts will be published one hour earlier than usual.
Righty ooooh Heidi hooo, stateside we’ve switched over to Daylight Savings Time over the weekend.
I hate it. Can we just skip this nonsense once and for all?
Can we PLEASEEEEE keep Standard Time all year.
Monday morning, I had to wait until it got light before I ventured out on my walk.
No, I have zero desire walking in the dark. So I left the house a bit before 7:30.
Annoying, and just reflect a bit over this, if we kept Daylight savings all year it would be brutally dark in the mornings during November-March.
I do not want that. I much rather have light mornings than lighter afternoons.
However, One just has to go with the flow and accept.
But remember, it’ll be a five hour difference now until you all in Europe will spring forward as well.
We had a good one.
Mild weather deluxe. The snow is nothing but a faint memory now. Ok, there are some super ugly snow piles here and there, but they will vanish in no time.
However, nature is ugly by the moment.
Not pretty at all--gray, brown, old leaves everywhere.
Well you all know, the border between winter and spring is most likely the ugliest time of the year.
But there are little signs of spring everywhere, like snow drops and crocuses.
I am just very happy that everything is NOT exploding around us. Despite the warm weather, nature has not yet gone all nuts.
The cherry blossoms in DC are predicted to bloom in the end of March, so that means that here in the Northwestern burbs it'll bloom a couple of days later than it does in the city.
I do not mind that one bit.
Spring, take your sweet little time.
Found on a very recent walk.
We enjoyed both appetizers, our main courses and a dessert. The dessert was a Sundae, and I loved it. Usually I am not a dessert girl, but this time it was just right.
Despite all the food we had I did not have to ask for a doggy bag, haha.
I was a bad blogger, and I did not photograph the food.
Sundays we did run som errands.
And we took a long walk, we took a long one on Saturday as well.
It feels good to be out and about in nature again.
Have a lovely Tuesday, y’all!!
