When it snows ain't it thrillin' ...

… though your nose gets a chillin'.

Good Morning Tuesday folks!

I hope all of you have had a very good, cozy and good Second of Advent weekend!

Friday started out splendid here in Restonland. It was snowing and it made me SOOO happy! When it snows I get all warm and fuzzy inside. I just love me a good snowy day!

I finished up the decorations outside the house.
And then I took my old Canon for a walk on the golf course. There is nothing better than snow in December.
I walked around for a while on the course. Some happy kids played in the snow. BUT, the schools in Fairfax County were not closed despite the snow. Nope, they just had a two hour opening delay.
And truth to be told, there were ZERO problems driving in this snow. None. I am sure many kids were disappointed, though.

Peter and I went out to lunch and to the store.

It was the perfect kind of snowy day, it snowed almost the entire day, but the roads were just fine

Friday evening I made the seasons first Jansson’s Temptation.
Yes, Yes … all you Swedes should know that I got hold of Grebbestads Ansjovis online. I bought them from Amazon, six jars. I am already looking forward to the next time it is a Jansson dinner.

As I am writing this post all the snow is gone. Of course.
But it is very frosty outside and that is beautiful, and the sun is rising in the east as I am sitting here by my kitchen table.
