Thanksgiving week.

Hello Tuesday Folks!!

The Thanksgiving week is upon here in the US.

A super cozy week, and a short one at that. Gotta love it.

The previous weekend was a good one.

Nice dinners, nice company and lots of good conversations. The best kind, when good friends get together. 

Sunday, Peter and I took a long walk around Burke Lake here in Fairfax County.

It was so serene, and even warm. How does 60F (16C) and sunny sound? Pretty good this time of the year, right?

It felt so good to be out and about after an otherwise very food oriented weekend. And more to come this week, as I said—Thanksgiving.

Almost all the leaves are on the ground.  You will have to be careful on the paths since stones and roots are all covered up.

But it is still pretty.

Peaceful.

Way past peak season, but still so nice.

In Los Angeles, the two young ones have left Koreatown for Larchmont.

Poor Karolina is exhausted, as is Mike. You all know how taxing a move is. I'm worried that Karolina has too much on her plate by the moment.

Mike is back filming in Oregon again. They both need a long, restful break.

Karolina Facetimed us yesterday, she showed us the apartment and its surroundings.  It is so nice and she already loves it.  Good vibes, as she said.  They can walk to lots of shops and restaurants, they feel safe and people are much friendlier than at the old place.  So happy for Karolina and Mike.  Peter and I cannot wait to go visit them.
