What are you going to be for Halloween?

Hello Tuesday!

As per usual, I hope the weekend treated you all well.

We’re at the end of October already, how on earth did that happen?

Peter and I had a good weekend.

I so appreciate cozy dinners at home, like ALL the time, but especially in the fall.

But, this weekend we were invited to Suzy and Brian's annual Halloween party.

This in an old tradition by now, and we always appreciate being part of the guest list.

So as promised, this is how we dressed up this year!

We’re knights, unless you can't see it, haha. 

Twinning? Yes.

Very fitting with the knighthood, since Peter can trace his roots back to the House of Stuart. HA!

I am just faking it, I have zero blue blood in my veins. A simple commoner, hehe.

But hey!

 

The knights of the evening.

Our hosts, Suzy and Brian.  Suzy is Peter's sister, and Brian is our brother-in-law.  They attended this year's October Fest in Munich and they absolutly had a BLAST being there.  Hence their costumes (they wore them when they were in Munich) as well.

And this is Ben, little Theo and Abby.  Ben is Suzy and Brian's son.  Peter's nephew in other words.

Keith is invited every year as well, he's and old friend to Peter's entire family. Keith, dressed as a doctor during the plague.  Yes, he did wear a beak as well, but it is hard to eat and drink with that on, haha.

This is Peter's dad, Pete.  My dear father-in-law.  He's always game and he dressed up as a farmer this year.  So cute.

The rest of the weekend we just winterized the deck.

Yup, now it is ready for winter. It feels good to store away the outdoor furnitures and all the summer  knickknacks. 

A new week is upon us.
