I love this place!

Good morning Tuesday!

As always, I hope your weekend was good.

Hopefully, you all are doing good during this late part of November. Many of you have probably already started to decorate for Christmas and Advent.

Sure, we are done. Well, we’ll get the Christmas tree on Saturday. But other than that, I am finished with my Christmas set up. So come Saturday, all we have to do is to get the tree and then we’ll trim it. SO nice!

The hubster and I had a nice weekend with good foods, we ran some errands and we took a long walk on Sunday. 

We walked along the Potomac River to Great Falls National Park. The weather was perfect for this hike, sunny and 57F (14C). I really enjoyed myself, being outdoors and just being in nature.

Now we are on our way to our closest natonal park, Great Falls.

There are a very few minimal technical parts on this otherwise super easy trail.

I'd like to think that the shores of the Potomac have looked just the same since the Indians owned this land.

And now, the Great Falls!!!

No matter what season, I love this place!

NO, you would NOT want to swim here.

Since it has been SOOO bone dry here for so long the water levels in the river are soooo low.

Yup!

A rapid river.

A raging river.

Lots of trails everywhere.

This river ends by the Chesapeake Bay far away from here.

It is hard to get enough of its views!

And now we are almost back at the car.
