Good morning to YOU!
I hope you have had a good and nice weekend.
Now it is time to tackle a new week.
Peter and I are preparing our deck and front yard for the upcoming late spring and summer.
It feels so nice to do so. We’re ready to start hanging on what I shamelessly call The Best Deck (TBD) and in our little front yard (täppan).
TBD is awesome in the afternoons and evenings as it has a western exposure. Also, it is private.
Täppan is great in the mornings. Weather permitting, I am always sitting there with a cuppa as I get home from my morning walks. Täppan has an eastern exposure.
It is not as private up front, all my neighbors can see me as I am sipping away. That is OK, though.
But it is good to have the more private deck in the evenings.
Pretty soon ALL the azaleas will be in full bloom.
Peter and I have scrubbed TBD over the weekend, and we have also sealed it for the season to come. Sealing is something you do not have to do every year, but I am glad it is done now for the next 2-3 years.
Magic by Lake Audubon on Friday.
IT is POLLEN galore everywhere. SO. MUCH. POLLEN!
I used to get pretty bad hay fevers come spring in the past. BUT, after I turned 40 my allergies went away, little by little each and every year.
Nowadays, I rarely have to take any medications at all when this season starts.
This year though, I can feel it!
I am sneezing and my eyes are itching, CLASSIC.
It is not superbad, but it is there. OH well, I’ll live.
When we were taking care of our lower patio on Sunday I could not help but notice this SAD tree.
And yesterday we all got this message on our phones.
Joe Biden and his administration have really succeeded when it comes to this. Respect!!
THIS street is always SOOOOO beautiful when the kwanzans bloom. I'll never get enough!!
All right y’all, I wish you a good, nice and SNEEZE free Tuesday!!
