Let’s leave it at that, shall we …
I’ll write more about it tomorrow. Maybe.
If I feel like it. Right now I am too afraid to even think of all the possible outcomes.
I’ll return to this subject.
It’s been a nice weekend.
Peter and I went to DC Friday morning. It was nice strolling around in Georgeotown, having breakfast and just enjoying a different kind of morning walk than my regular ones out here in the BURBS.
We also carved pumpkins once we got back and we had a very nice evening here in our home. A good day. A good day indeed.
It was a bit on the cooler side all day long.
The hubster and I took a walk in the morning—sunny, lovely but cold.
We stopped by the local Starbuck’s and I got myself the treat of the fall, a pumpkin spice latte. THAT is a comfort drink if there ever was one.
Therefore we did not get heaps of candy either. BUT, to our surprise we got a good amount of kids.
Many, many more than we thought we would get.
We had divided the candy into plastic bags. Each kid was to take one bag each. And, they did.
I had placed a table at the end of our walkway. That worked fine. social distance and all. We were hanging outside for a while with a glass of wine, but it got too cold too fast.
And, inside it was just sooooo warm and cozy!!
A good, but different Halloween.
It is November.
A month I do not mind whatsoever. And, yes for sure, I have already started to prep this house for Christmas.
Christmas will come early this year, people ... THAT is just the way the cookie crumbles :-)
All right, you all.
Tomorrow we may, or may not know, who is elected commander-in-chief for the next four years …
Have a good Tuesday!!
