Here in the US, we have now switched to Daylight Saving Time (sommartid).
Oh. How. I. Despise. This. I. Really. Really. DO!
Who came up with this stupid idea in the first place? Me, I want standard time all year long.
Why mess with time?
Now the mornings are dark again. When I took my PW yesterday the sun had not even risen yet …
It messes people up, and it is just plain annoying and totally useless.
Stop the insanity. Standard time for the WIN!
Pics from recents walks in the neighborhood. Look at these early cherry blossoms about to burst into full bloom.
Springy, for sure!
And, on this side of the pond it IS spring. Well, correction, in the DC-area it is, at least!
True, early spring.
Yesterday was downright toasty. How does 73F (23C) sound?
It is going to be mild all week long. Actually, it is supposed to be unseasonably warm all the way up to spring equinox, 19 of March. This early spring will be one for the record books.
In other words, it’ll be summer soon.
Now, this is too strange.
BUT, alas, when nature serves you this spring cocktail you should just go with the flow and make the best of it.
So it is.
One can enjoy it to its fullest regardless.
You know, stuff like that …
Pink petals along my path.
Yesterday morning by Lake Thoreau.
A mild, super early spring and a corona virus that is a constant, somewhat nagging, reminder to keep oneself in line, haha.
The virus is here in the DC-area now, of course it is.
Yes, it is unsettling, I would lie if I said otherwise.
Some people are going really nuts and they are more than stressed out. Poor people, I say.
Me? Chilling …
Just taking it easy, I refuse to stress and worry about this.
Stupid and ignorant? Maybe …
But I just can’t with the insanity surrounding it.
I do admit though, Peter and I have stocked up on a few items. BUT, that’s about it.
And I am crazy careful in washing my hands time, time and time again. Then again, I always am …
These are the days when you can drink your morning cuppa outside in the sun ...
The weekend was good.
Long walks, sunny days and good dinners.
Just the way I like it.
Have a good Tuesday!
