It’s the holiday season, so whoopee-whoop …
Yes, it is!
The holiday season, that is.
Thanksgiving has come, and gone. I love that holiday so much. It is SUCH a lovely holiday for all the right reasons.
To celebrate family, what your are thankful for and to eat a lot of good food.
It works for me.
November passed way too fast.
I have no idea where time went. Really. November just blew by me, right over my head.
The thing is, December will whiz by EVEN faster. I do not like that aspect at all.
I want to anchor the time now.
Karolina has been home as well.
The loveliness to have her here with us is priceless. I am so thankful and happy that she will return in less than three weeks and celebrate Christmas with us.
Hurray for that.
It made it less hard to say goodbye to her late last night.
Her flight left Dulles for LAX at 22:00.
Thanksgiving day was lovely. We did all the usual stuff.
Black Friday is always one of my favorite days of the year.
Lunch with friends.
A movie …
THIS year we watched such an AWESOME movie that I am really recommending all of you to go see!
Gosh, I loved this movie. It is a true Coziness-Quirkiness-Murder-Mystery movie of the best kind. You get true Agatha Christie/Maria Lang vibes here. Lang was a classic Swedish murder-mystery writer.
Even though I know “whodunnit” I would still LOVE to see this movie again.
The actors are all perfect! They are so amazingly good in their roles. The house, where it all takes place, is a mix between a spooky gothic home and coziness galore.
Frankly, I loved everything about this movie.
And, I give it a five star rating! GO SEE IT!!
And, of course the lightening of the Christmas tree!! THAT is always special.
We always have the most stunning of Christmas trees in Reston Town Center. This year’s tree did NOT disappoint.
The Christmas Tree of 2019 ...
... is candy themed.
People, it is Christmas in my house AS WELL.
IT is all decked out. TO the max.
Do I love it?
HAHA, take a wild guess!
I’ll show you pictures later on this week.
I still have things to take care of outside, but I am almost done there as well.
I hope you all had a great weekend—-and if you happened to celebrate the biggest holiday of the year— Thanksgiving, I hope you had a very good one.
May December not fly by now …
