We’re in the very beginning of November.
It is fall.
We have had frost two nights in a row now, the first frosts of the season.
I think it is lovely. A lot of people think the opposite. And so it goes …
It is sunny and golden outside.
Crisp fall days are upon us.
The first frost of the season on Saturday morning
We switched back to standard time over the weekend.
The mornings turned a lot lighter. The evenings turned darker.
Early morning sun and golden trees.
I hope you all had a good weekend.
I am sure many of you in Scandinavia visited churches, cemeteries and church yards due to All Saint’s Day.
Yes, I did see so many lovely pictures of glistening candles on cemeteries on my instagram feed, and on Facebook, over the weekend.
This beautiful holiday is not observed as a national holiday here in the US. I wish it was.
Steamy autumn lakes.
I am slowly starting to plan for Christmas now …
Yes, I am. SAY no more.
As of when I’ll start preparing, what I’ll have to buy in order to do so.
Call me nuts, but this is the way it is.
Psssst … I am sure many of you think about THIS as well, hehe.
Now now, do not even pretend to that you don’t ;-)
Over the weekend I told a dear friend that I am actually already thinking about when I am going to take Christmas down. And, it is not even UP yet. Heck, it is not even close to Thanksgiving yet.
SO, basically I am already thinking about New Year’s Day, haha.
Well, that’s a bit dark of me to think about Christmas take-down NOW. Talk about NOT living in the moment …
Well, ya know.
The pictures in today’s post are all taken during my walk yesterday. Monday morning was so painfully beautiful.
It was calm, frosty, sunny and crystal clear. The lakes were misty, and I wish I have had brought my Canon DSLR along. But alas, all I had was my trusted iPhone. I have got to start taking more pics with my Canon. I am getting too comfortable with my iPhone.
But, it is soooo much easier just shooting with my phone, and not schlepping a heavy DSLR around.
Do you see the men fishing in the boat? How lovely!
All right y’all, have a very nice November Tuesday!
