Another weekend came, and went.
I hope you all had a nice and relaxing time.
Peter and I had a good time with nice dinners. But, we also cleaned a lot and took care of a bunch of stuff around the house.
I finally cleaned the windows. Such a nice feeling when that is done.
The first ice porn of the season revealed itself on Friday. This is the effect you can get from a malfunctioning sprinkler system, haha. Kind of cool, tho! Also, check out the moon in the top of the pic.
AND, we started watching The Crown on Sunday!
MAYBE YOU DID, TOO?
I am sure some of you did, at least.
I was a bit nervous about the new cast since I really, really think the younger cast was so brilliant.
No need to be nervous though, this new cast really delivers. Olivia Coleman is excellent as The Queen.
I don’t even think about her as Fleabag’s crazy stepmother, haha (I watch Fleabag parallel to The Crown). I was afraid that I would not get the stepmother role out of my head.
What a highest quality of tv-shows this is, The Crown.
I say it time and again, TV has never, ever, ever been stronger and better than it is today.
It is pure quality thru and thru. Lucky viewers us!
In episode three of The Crown, they are addressing the Aberfan Disaster. This tragedy was news to both Peter and I.
What a terrible, terrible, HORRIBLE disaster that took place in the little town back in the fall of 1966.
I actually almost cried as I was watching this episode.
Let me tell you one thing, Peter and I are keeping Google VERY active while watching The Crown. And, you can tell other people do, too. It is so evident. Funny!!
And, I enjoyed my first pumpkin spice latte of the season. How do you like Starbuck's Christmas mug? I think about Lakrisal (salt licorice) when I see this particular mug. There are four different designs this holiday season.
Nature is still quite colorful.
It is as if it waits for Karolina to come back and experience it.
Karolina arrives next Tuesday. We all cannot WAIT. It will be so fun having her home for Thanksgiving. She thinks so just as much as we do!
Yesterday was gray and damp. But, there is something so soothing within this. At least it is to me ...
It's beginning to look a lot like ...
And that concludes today’s post …
Have a good one, y’all!!
