Good morning Tuesday!!
It is Thanksgiving week, y’all!!
This is one of the best weeks of the year.
This week, Christmas week and the week surrounding The Fourth of July are the best. You can just feel the happiness and anticipations in the air.
Pictures from yesterday. I am out bright and early, as always.
I love these frosty, sunny mornings so much!
Peter and I have been busy bees this weekend.
We have rigged all the outdoor Christmas lights. Yes, they are rigged, but not lit.
Inside, I have prepared a lot of stuff as well.
As I said to my dear husband, the more we do now the more we’ll thank ourselves later for it.
Remember that poor Peter IS indeed married to a true Christmas freak!
And, pssst … it’s beginning to look a lot like ... in my little humle abode …
And, the best thing OF THIS WEEK is!!
KAROLINA is coming home this evening!!
THAT is just awesome beyond!
She’s so ready to come home. I am so ready for her!
As a matter of fact, I have just started to prepare tonight’s dinner, beef bourguignon . That is what the young lady has ordered.
Lake Thoreau in the morning sun.
Peter and I watched two Christmas movies on Netflix over the weekend. Both decent, one of them is really good as a matter of fact.
You guys, watch the Netflix Christmas documentary, Tree Man.
It is about the people who come from as far away as Canada to sell Christmas trees to Manhattanites for about one month every year, from late November until Christmas day.
It is about how they live, the families they have left behind, the people working for them and so forth. It is a heart warming —-and even a bit sad—-documentary. I recommend it, even if I wish they could have given us even more information about these fantastic people who are spreading so much joy.
I give this documentary a four star review out of five.
Picture from thelinda.org. Folks, do yourselves a favor and watch this movie!
The second one we watched is more of your typical, classic Christmas movie. It is a brand new Netflix original for this holiday season. It involves time travel, England, Ohio and Vanessa Hudgens.
I think Vanessa Hudgens is Netflix’ Christmas daaahling …
The name of the movie is The Knight Before Christmas.
The movie is —of course—kind of dumb, but it has loads of Christmas spirit and pleasant sceneries and beautifully decorated homes.
See it if you have nothing else to do. And be aware, it is cheesy!
I give this a three star rating.

Also, the past weekend included the seasons first glögg martinis. OOOOO, TIS the season!! I love this drink!!!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
Did you start prepping for Christmas?
Are you ready?
Have a good Tuesday!
