Good morning Tuesday!
Hot days here in my part of the world.
Summer is here.
As long as the AC is working and the fans are going strong I am game!
You'll see this little cute sign in front of our house.
My deck in the evening sun.
Flowers in my little front yard in the early morning sun.
The Memorial Day weekend has been so nice.
Friday night was spent on another deck here in Reston. Good friends invited us to dinner.
SO very nice.
I have hostas that are amazingly big.
I took this pic early Sunday morning. The ground was steaming. I don't really think you can see it here. But the entire ground, by the blue flowers, were like a field of steam. It was so hot and so humid out there.
My little kitschy owl mug that I like so much.
It is fun with a whimsical thing here and there ...
You all know my old, faithful owl ...
This is my bench. The same one as I deck out for Christmas, now it is home to numerous plants, owls, lanterns and a gnome ....
Saturday, Sunday and Monday were also spent outside.
Peter painted, I was weeding and fixing with the front yard.
But, in the afternoons we hunkered down on our deck.
In the afternoons, I like having a cup of tea on my deck.
I may, or may not, repaint the blue and rusty barn star. I haven't really made up my mind yet ...
I love hanging out there.
I just love it.
The Best Deck, or TBD, energizes me.
US people, this is a REALLY refreshing thirst quencher. SO good. I can really recommend drinking it on a hot summer afternoon.
You'll find this sign by our grill.
In the mornings, I love hanging in the front of my house.
It is so nice sitting there with sipping my morning coffee.
Three cute sheep are hanging out on the deck.
Say what? Mushrooms are growing on the deck.
My front yard again. My morning view ... I am not complaining.
OH, and I have a wonderful gardenia out there. It smells so very lovely.
Today you've seen some details from my outdoor areas.
And, tomorrow I’ll continue writing about our trip to Los Angeles.
Have a good Tuesday!
