Super Bowl weekend came and went.
The people that DO care about football said it was SUCH a boring game. The Patriots, the Boston team, won yet again. Hohum ...
The crowd at the very nice Super Bowl party we attended were disappointed in the game. Everybody was like, oh well The Pats won again … BOOOORING.
BUT, everything else at the party was nice. The company, the food and the conversations.
A nice evening. Thanks Susanna and Marc.
We are welcoming a mild weather week here in my neck of the woods. Today, I think the mercury will hit 64F (18C). I know, it is SICK!!!
When the weekend rolls around it is supposed to dip again.
I am so tired of this roller coaster.
I shot these pictures yesterday. The light was beautiful in the early morning.
Today, I am up for some personal maintenance again. It is time to hit up my hair stylist for some high lights and a haircut.
Time consuming and expensive. But, necessary.
But, I’ll tell you what, I would much rather have taken a long walk in the sunshine. Because, when nature does throw in a 64 degree day you SHOULD take advantage of it, no matter how much you disklike warm weather in the winter.
Oh, but the weather on Friday was lovely. It was snowing, all day long. A nice, beautiful, quiet snowfall.
The schools closed yet again.
I was out walking in the morning. It was lovely, but SO very slippery. You know, very fluffy snow fell on icy surfaces. Kind of scary.
I almost slipped and fell three times during my walk, and I was careful.
So, it was a smart call of the county to close the schools this time around.
Friday morning pics. The perfect snowfall. A great, but slippery, walk.
I know that you people in big parts of Scandinavia got pounded by snow this weekend, and even yesterday.
Lovely, yes I do think so.
I almost think that I like gray and snowy winter days more than I like blue and sunny ones. There is something so soothing with a gray and snowy winter's day.
Have a good and nice Tuesday!
