Good morning Tuesday!
I hope your weekend was a good one.
I know that most of you Nordic people in the Nordic region have had true winter this past weekend.
And, about TIME at least for the middle to southern parts of the region!
It has been a mild weekend in my part of the world. I miss winter, I really do. I hope it’ll return soon.
Other than being mild, the weekend has been nice.
Nice dinners, cozy environments or hygge.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday tend to pass way too fast.
Here are some pics! AND some texts to go along the pics.
This picture is taken on Thursday. The lake porn was going fairly strong, and there was still ice ...
This photo is taken on Friday morning, by Lake Audubon. One wonders ... the swimming tubes? How come? Why now? Maybe one, aka me, should jump in the lake and take a midwinter swim? Naaah, that would never ever happen :-)
I have no idea what this bush is called? But, it is quite common where I live. So beautiful in the winter time.
The golf course in the early morning sun.
My kitchen table on Saturday night.
Sometimes Peter and I like to walk to the grocery store. Both of us grab a backpack each and trek to Safeway. No, we cannot buy a lot of stuff, but we'll get some essentials, maybe a couple of dinners. If it is cold it is no problem buying meats. However, Sunday was WARM. Here is Peter on his way home from Safeway. No, you hardly ever see anybody ELSE doing this (if ever). Peter and I are pretty unique in that regard.
Yesterday by Lake Thoreau. Despite the mild temps the ice lingers on in coves and creeks.
Have a good Tuesday! May winter be with you!
