Time to write a line, or two, in English!
I hope all is good and fine with you all!
Maybe the sun is shining where you all live?
Maybe it is fairly warm?
Well, what can I say? We have summer.
Yesterday it was 30 degrees C in the afternoon, 86 degrees F. Yes, it was humid as well.
It is safe to say that our summer has arrived.
The AC is ON inside our house.
You cannot go without now.
I have a feeling that we are in for a long, hot summer.
The winter was SO long, SO cold and SO snowy.
A rough COLD winter is usually followed by a HOT summer.
Now, in the beginning, it feels quite nice with these temps.
But ask me again in a week and I might have changed my mind.
However, I don't think this heat wave will last.
The summer of 2014 arrived last Thursday afternoon.
It rolled in. One hour it was kind of cool and damp, the next hour it was hot and even a bit humid!
I shot the pics below Thursday evening around 18:00.
Can you tell how hazy, hot and humid it is? I think it shows!
I could not resist snapping a pic of this cute little girl!
This is where the ice-porn used to rein! HAHA!
South Lakes High School art on the lake!
Nice evening for kayaking and paddle boarding!
The Azaleas are in full bloom!! Right now!
Hazy, calm evening in the beginning of May.
I want a floating veranda!
And, this is the view from my deck right now.
I love it.
I love the evenings when we hang out on said deck. The evenings are lovely and warm.
I guess I am ready for the season!
Oh, and the three of us have finally booked our tickets to Sweden.
All of us are OUTTA here on July, 1.
Then we'll be in Stockholm for less than a week before we all head east to Finland.
All three of us will be back in The US on different days.
Yes, Karolina is going to fly solo for the first time ever. I know she'll be just fine traveling with SAS on the same route we have been taking so may times.
I'll be back again in the beginning of August. Yes, it is shorter vacation this year, but a college is waiting for us...so...
Have a good one, y'all!!
