Tuesday again!
Karolina is super busy with her rehearsals these days.
Yesterday they (the theatre department) were rehearsing until 22:00.
It is tough being a theatre kid, it really is. Actually, it is tough for all the kids that are commited to something; like, the band, the dance team, sports, the orchestra, the list goes on...
But, as long as they have fun and they can handle their school work it is fine.
So, I was going to look back, to the past, today again. It is fun for me to dig into the photo-archives. And, I so hope that YOU want to come along!!!

Karolina, March 2005, she is a member of the court for the Georgia state society's Cherry Blossom Princess. Karolina used to be part of that court for many years. We haven't participated in a couple of years, but we may go back again. Peter's parents are from Georgia, so that is the connection we have to that state and it's society.

In September of 2005 it was time for Karolina to start third grade!

Here I am with me Swedish lady friends! All of them are still in the US living close to us, except the lady on the far left. She moved back to Sweden with her family (expats) many years ago. But the rest of the lovely ladies are still going strong in da us of A.

Karolina and my beloved grandmother in 2005. Karolina is 9 and my grandma, Signhild, is almost 86. They are still the best of friends!

I love this picure. It is taken in July 2005 at our summer house. Can't you just feel the heat of the evening sun? In the pic: my sister Sara, her hubby HÄkan, my sister-in-law Lisa, my brother Staffan, my brother Gunnar and my sister-in-law Kinn. Anton, then 6 is in the water!

My mom, Ann-Mari, and Karolina in Kaskö/Kaskinen, the smallest town in all of Finland. Kaskö is located about 10 kilometers south from us.

Karolina and our neighbor Abby are hanging out by the Potomac River. The picture is taken on New Year's Day 2006. HOW about that, people??? Again, Washington in the winter CAN be tricky. You'll never know what kind of weather you're gonna get.

May 2006, in the Outer Banks. Yes, we love it there! SO much!!!

Peter and I five years ago. In the OBX...
ONLY 40 and 41 years old. Oh dear, how time flies...

Karolina and her cousin Ella in July 2006. Ella is only three months old. Karolina is ten years old!

This feels like ancient history, but it is only five years ago...
Gosh how teeny tiny they were. Karolina, 10, Ebba, 9 and Erik, 7.
And, with this I will end the post for this time.
All these pictures were taken with my Sony cybershot.
I wish you all a super good Tuesday!!

Kramar!!!
Kram

You are so welcome!! It is my pleasure!!
Suz:

SO fun that you are going to Sweden and Finland this summer!!
i hope the weather will be just great!
I have not seen those shows yet, but I want to!
Sounds so fun!
YES, tango is HUGE in Finland. They have a hige crowning of a tango king and queen every summer. More of a singing competition.
I know, I so value all my visits to Scandinavia!!

Magdalena:
TACK!!
Kram!!!
