Morning!
Today I thought that I would take a look back at 2008.
But, instead of just rambling on about it I thought I would post it in pictures. AND, instead of showing, like say, the best picture of every month I thought I would look into my photo folders and post the first pic from the January folder of last year, then I'll take the second pic from the February folder, the third from March and so on...
All right, here we go!
January, first picture...

How appropriate!! Our George Bush count-down calendar that stayed in our bathroom for over a year. Now THAT calender is gone, and we have a new Prez. Nice to see it gone, both from the bathroom and from the White House!
February, second picture...

Ah, yes..Karolina made cookies...How do you like all the icing and sprinkles???
March, third picture...

Karolina at Clay Cafe. We go here about twice a year. It is always so nice, and relaxing, to sit there and paint pottery!
April, fourth picture...

Even though this is the fourth picture in the April folder (how lovely it IS) I don't think it is from the beginning of April. My guess is that it is taken in the end of April. But still...Spring is just around the corner.
May, fifth picture...

NOW we're talking!! Our deck is ready for the long summer season. That feels so distant right now as I write this on a cloudy and cold day in January.
June, sixth picture...

And, why did I feel like I had to shoot this pic??? What was the thought behind that? Was it the rain? Anyway, early June it is...
July, seventh picture...

Leaving Stockholm behind. We're heading east to our SUMMER HOUSE in NĂ€rpes, Finland.
Stockholm a beautiful summer morning is like nothing else, especially when you see it from a mega big cruise ferry.
August, eigth picture...

By the summer house...All right, now I just want to GO there!
September, ninth picture...

At the Renaissance Festival in Maryland. THIS was a HOT day, almost unbearable...
October, tenth picture...

A lovely Sunday afternoon walk in October down by "our" lake.
November, eleventh picture...

Halloween candy. I just (after x-mas) threw away the last pf the Halloween candy...enough is so enough...
December, tweleth picture...

Christmas. Nice that it is almost another year until next time...
All right, that was that...My year in pictures, in a "forced" way.
Fun, never less.
Have a good Tuesday!
And, today it is SNOWING, "the first significant snowfall of the season". Yes, indeed it is.
The most typical thing is that Peter is about to leave for a business trip tonight, and by then the snow is suppose to turn to sleet. I cannot believe that this snow has to fall today, of all days. I also cannot help but wonder if Peter will be able to leave tonight?
We'll see!
But, one thing is for sure, we'll ENJOY this day!
