Good morning Tuesday!!
As always, I hope you have had a great weekend.
Our weekend here in old Reston-land was quiet. Good, but quiet.
On Friday, we were pretty much spoken for ALL day long, soooo tired and sluggish after our final Pfizer shot. Typical side effects.
Peter did run a fever as well. NOT too bad, though, in any way.
We are just so beyond thankful to now be fully vaccinated —It is a liberating feeling.
Bleeding hearts. I love them.
Those side effects lasted a mere 24 hours.
Saturday we ran some errands.
I am looking for a bistro set for my little tiny front yard. It is harder to find one than you can imagine. We went to several stores, we did not find anything we really liked.
So, it all ended with me ordering a set online. I’ll get it on Friday.
Sunday we mulched and fixed our little täppa, the front yard.
NOW, I can PLANT flowers and fix it ALL up for spring. And, I am planning to do so this very week.
I cannot WAIT!!
This weekend we will start prepping THE deck for the summer.
But, before we can make it into our outdoor sanctuary we’ll have to clean and seal said deck.
Ready to fully embrace spring and the outdoor life that will follow.
I am speechless, as always this time of the year. It is a fairytale world. It will not last long, but it is stunning by the moment in every way.
It is a LOT of pollen out there, too.
One can feel it. And One can SEE it.
All the best to y’all this very Tuesday!!
