It's been a while since I took you all on a photo walk.
Today will be such a day.
The pics in this post are all taken during my power walk yesterday morning.
No, we do not have any snow (yet).
BUT yesterday morning certainly was a very cold one.
As I left the house at 7:30, it was quite breezy.
Sure, it was sunny as can be, but so blustery.
The mercury showed a temp of -9 C, or 15 on the Fahrenheit scale.
However, the windchill factor told a whole other story, -17 C, or 1 degree F.
I did enjoy it, though.
I took plenty of pics with my Canon.
But, when it is really cold you can tell that your camera is suffering a bit, too. The camera tends to operate a bit slower, you can easily tell that icy-cold conditions are not ideal for a camera.
I was out for an hour and a half.
No, I did not see many other people that were out walking yesterday morning. I met a couple of (shivering) dog walkers, that's it.
People probably think that I am a total freak when they see me out and about, sans dog, in really cold conditions.
But I state, as long as you are dressed in warm clothes you WILL be JUST fine.
Yeah, I might have pushed it a bit yesterday though. I started to get really cold after I had been home for a while.
But, it is still totally worth it.
I'll be out today again. Naturally.
Now the meteorologist are saying that we might get hit really hard with snow on Friday and Saturday.
I hope they are right this time.
I truly believe it WHEN I see it.
I say; bring it ON!!
Around 7:30. The sun is rising. It is going to be a clear blue, sunny, blustery and very cold Monday!
The traffic was light yesterday morning. It was a holiday, after all, Martin Luther King Day.
Breezy conditions by the lake.
A strayed, floating deck...
The ice-porn has returned to the lakes...
Spring is still very far away. The hydrangeas are beautiful even in this state of winter.
SO. HARD. TO. RESIST. BREAKING. THE. ICE
Monday morning selfie...No make-up and all...
Have a lovely Tuesday, y'all!!
