Today, I will return to the Christmas themed blog posts again. I did stray away in yesterday’s post where I took you all on a trip on The Appalachian Trail.
Today, we are not traveling that far. Today, I will take you RIGHT outside my house. This is how it looks when it is all decked out for Christmas.
I miss the cold weather. I miss SNOW!
Sure, the mornings are usually cold and frosty.
But, the temperatures tend to reach 52 F (12C) almost every day. And, It will get even more ridiculously mild this weekend when the temps will reach 66 F (19 C). Those kind of temps in December, and during the winter, just make me wanna SCREAM out of pure frustration. Give us at least semi-decent winter temps, please.
It’s been a very mild fall. All over the globe, it seems. I am not a fan.
But, come along and take a look at my little, little garden, and parts of my deck.
This is my lower deck.
Just outside my front door you will find these little gnomes.
Some fresh cypress, holly and fir.
An arrangement in an old barrel
My bench at Christmas!
Yes, since I have several cypresses growing right outside my house I¨ll make sure to decorate some of their branches as well.
The illuminated bench...
lanterns on the bench...
My holly tree
An illuminated arrangement of fir and holly.
You can dress up your hydrangea bushes, too.
My deck is decked out with multi-colored lights.
Have a good Tuesday!
I will do some Christmas shopping today!
