Well, we are nearing Christmas now.
I cannot believe how fast November and December passed by. It is actually kind of scary.
Not a fan when time travels to fast.
However, today it is time for a look back to previous Christmases.
One tends to be a bit sentimental this time of the year.
It is way too easy take a trip down Memory Lane when you lose yourself in thoughts.
I am done with all my Christmas shopping now. YAY!
No, I was never stressed about it. I just knew I would get it all done in time, and I did.
I went to the mall yesterday, as I said. It was quite packed even at the early hour when I was there.
And, it takes a lot of patrons for Tysons Corner to get crowded, for sure. But, as I said, I had no problem finding a parking space, and no trouble getting around inside the mall.
But, yes, let’s take that stroll down Memory Lane, shall we…
Karolina, 6 months old. Her very first Christmas. This was our Christmas card of 1996. What a little precious gift she was!
Yes, that very Christmas. I have saved the dress and the pantyhose. SO cute!!
Karolina, 7 months old. We went to Sweden in the beginning of January 1997, and we celebrated Christmas again there with my family. Very nice.
Karolina around 18 months old. The dress, I still have it. I loved it. Still do! Velvet. I remember that I bought it at Bloomingdale's. It was quite expensive. BUT, I could NOT resist. This is the Christmas card of 1997.
Peter and Karolina are opening gifts on Christmas Eve 1997.
Gifts from her American grandparents. This coat and hat were so cute, so, so cute!! Yes, I have saved the coat as well.
Christmas Eve in Sweden. I think this is the Christmas of 2002. Karolina with her cousins Erik and Ebba.
Karolina and I by the Christmas tree, maybe 2003?
Christmas morning 2003 in our basement here in Reston. Opening the stockings! Happy girl!!
Karolina and her cousin Ebba in Sweden 2002.
I can dig so deep into old photos. I can totally lose myself in them.
The picture below is this year's Christmas picture.
I wish you all a very good Tuesday!
