It is December 1 today!
The most wonderful time of the year.
I hope this month will not just fly by. Well, who the heck am I kidding, right? Time tends to fly when you're having fun, so...
As I stated in yesterday’s post, it is CHRISTMAS in my house now.
Oh yes, I am done decorating. Or, almost done, I might add. There are always something I can tweak with, add or remove.
It is a never ending process.
Style wise I like to mix Swedish decorations with their American counterparts. It is not completely Swedish, and it is not an All American Christmas, here. It is a mix of everything, just like the three of us living in this house.
I also happen to think MORE is MORE at Christmas. I am not the gal who is in any way a minimalist, and absolutely not around the holidays! I happen to love the traditional Christmas colors, red, green, white, silver and gray.
I like it all a bit old fashioned as well.
The coziness factor is---as always---the most important aspect of it all.
I am not going to waste my time chatting here.
Take a look at my place!
This is my kitchen...
My living room.
The tree is full, and lovely. Do you guys know that it is almost impossible to find an ugly Christmas tree here? Well, it is. All are groomed to perfection.
Hanging out, chillaxing, by the tree...
A rainy, damp cold day here in Reston. But, it is warm and cozy inside my home.
