It is no secret that I enjoy taking photographs. You all know that by now.
My biggest love is probably nature, and to shoot nature pics. But, lately I have taken an interest in shooting people (GOD that sounds awful, but you know what I mean, haha). Shooting thru the camera lens, that is.
Sure, it is easy to photograph young people. Photogenic girls, at that, as I have photographed so far.
The real challenge would be shooting someone my own age, or older. THAT is when you really have challenges with lines, gravity and age.
A young person has none of that, beautiful eyes, skin without a line, smooth and young.
But, I would really like to photograph someone older as well.
Now, as I am nearing fifty, I think it is hard even to take good selfies.
I have started my new, tiny adventure in taking pictures of high school seniors. I am taking their, so called, senior pictures. Maybe the picture you’d use in your graduation announcement.
It is fun, and it is a challenge as well, of course.
I hope I’ll get more gigs.
I know I have at least two other girls to photograph, hopefully there will be even more, and boys, too.
I also have an interest in doing head shots, mini-sessions and, of course, regular portraits of people all ages.
We’ll see where this leads. And, as for my love of nature, and nature shots? Well, I have some plans there as well.
I'll tell you more about that later, though.
The pictures below are of my good friend Susanna’s beautiful daughter, Melanie.
And, you all know my own daughter, Karolina. I shot Karolina’s senior picture as well. But the pics below are more recent.
Have a good Tuesday, y’all!!
