We'll take a little break from the Florida Keys for a day.
Instead I will show you all how it looks here--where I live--right now.
Right now spring is at its peak.
The trees are still light green. Spring is stil fairly new, even though it might border on "early summer".
Most fruit trees have already bloomed, but some of the trees are still in "session".
We have warm days right now. Very warm, almost hot.
I shot the pictures below when Peter and I were out walking Sunday morning.
We went to nearby Lake Fairfax Park here in Reston.
It is lovely there, and there are so may paths to choose from while there.
Well, come along and let's take a look, shall we!
Lake Fairfax Park is located here in Reston. It is one of my favorite places to visit.
Oh, these flowers (the buttercups) remind me of home. The buttercups grow everywhere right now, just as they do in Sweden! Summer feelings!!
Bright green trees. Spring!!
These are anemones, they also grow everywhere right now. They do remind me of "vitsippor", and of course they are related.
Nice and warm day, around 26 degrees Celsius, or 80 on the Fahrenheit scale.
And, the oak trees by this lake are so beautiful. I just love this place. I could stay here forever.
And all those little roads...
So, yes, these are lovely times.
My front yard is done and done for the year. I¨ll show pics of that place a little later this week. My deck is done as well.
Now it is time to just enjoy.
Have a good Tuesday!
