The kids have had seven days off now, all in all, including the weekend!
It's been so nice for me, and for Karolina. She needed a break from her busy life.
Yesterday we took off for some good, old shopping in Tysons Corner Center. Yes, that mall is our favorite mall by far around here.
Karolina's breakfast, a super-healthy (NOOOOOOOOT so much) cinnamon bun from Cinnabon. Karolina ate half of it, and I had zero. It is big and so sweet that it'll hurt your teeth.
My breakfast came from this place. A skinny vanilla latte and a banana. Good.
Karolina did some serious shopping, and I paid for it.
This is a cool sushi restaurant in the middle of the mall. The sushi circles around on a belt, and you pick whatever you want to eat.
No sushi for us, Karolina does not like it. We went to Coastal Flats instead. This breadbasket and this butter is to die for. However, I did not have a single piece of bread. BUT, I know how good it IS!!!
My lunch! A super good mango and chicken salad that I love!!! I have it every time we go to this restaurant.
Karolina is picking out a gift for her friend who's turning 15 on Saturday.
On our way home again...
Ah, but I did some shopping, too. I went to Sephora and got some goodies for us grown up girls. The mascara is from Bare Escentuals, it is the BEST mascara I have ever had in my life. I really do recommend it!! OPI nail polish is the best nail polish that I know about, and Dior eye shadow is a great shadow to get!
This powder, Meteorites by Guerlain, is luxury in a jar! Pure luxury. The powder is like silk, and it evens out your skin tone. It smells like candy, it smells just like the Swedish candy "violtabletter", but I have a feeling it is not that good to eat ;-) Sephora is just such a lovely store!
Today Karolina is off as well, so nice for her. They are calling for bad weather, but I hope they're wrong!
We have a night guest here right now. One of Karolina's friends slept over last night. This is a nice "winter vacation".
Have a nice Tuesday!
