I got lost in memories, as I tend to do sometimes.
These pics were taken back in the days before the digital cameras had invaded the market.
I was so good at putting every, single picture that I took into an album.
In the new digital era, we tend to not print out our pictures. The pictures get stuck on a computer, or a hard drive. It is not as easy to enjoy them these days.
It is not the same thing to look at pics on a computer, or on a TV screen.
Albums and printed pictures are the only things I miss from the analog days. I would not consider starting shooting in film again, even though those pictures probably will last longer than the digital ones will.
Anyway, I got stuck in an album from the winter/spring of 1998-1999.
Karolina was around 2 and half years old.
Karolina with her baby-cousin Erik. Erik was three months old here. We were in Sweden for Erik's christening. Oh, the memories...
Erik is 13 today...
All the cousins in Ebba's bed. Cuties!! Ebba was 2 here, as was Karolina...
The 2 year olds and their ice-creams! It feels so distant to think back upon this...
Karolina and Melanie (my friend Susanna's daughter). Karolina must have been around 2 y and 8 months. Melanie most have been around 8 months old. Today she's 13...
Karolina in her weekly Gymboree class.
Awww...and her "first boyfriend" Seanie. Seanie moved back to Australia in 1999. We still miss Seanie and his family, OR PETER AND I MISS THEM!! Karolina hardly remembers her first love...
Happy camper (as always). Almost three years old.
Playing Nintendo-64 (I think) with daddy!
Yes, this is what happens when I lose myself in memories.
YOU get to see them!
I hope you think it is all right.
I might post more pics from the past as I go thru more albums.
Time flies, and yet it feels so distant.
Sometimes I wish I could just JUMP into an old pic, live there for a little bit. Hold the three year old Karolina.
I want to invent some kind of time machine thru photos.
Anyway, enough reminiscing I will be off to the gym in a little bit...
Have a good Tuesday!
Ah, and here is my 15 year old today!
