And, therefore it is time for me to post something in English!
Yesterday, I dug into my old photo albums again, and I thought that you all might be interested to take a look!
The album I happened to grab was one from 1998, early 1998. Karolina was around 18 months old.
We were in Stockholm (and Ostrobothnia) for 6 weeks in the early winter of 1998.
We did have a great time, as always. Poor Peter was in the states, working. However, I am so happy and thankful that I could take all these trips home (during the winters) when Karolina was little. These trips really worked wonders for her Swedish language skills + that it was simply wonderful for her, and my family, to be around each other. Peter, was sad when we left him (and so were we), but he did understand how very important the trips were to me, and Karolina. Peter's the best! Thanks hubby! Forever thankful for all this!
This photo is taken in our old kitchen in our old house here in Reston. It is Christmas Eve 1997. Karolina is pretty much exactly 18 months old.
In Stockholm. I still remember the jacket and the hat. They were SO very cute!
Karolina and her cousin Ebba. Ebba was 1 y and 3 months here. This year the gals will turn 16!!!
In Närpes visiting my grandma. These are my parents, and a certain K-girl.
Those cousin beauties again....
We're back in the states again. This picture is taken during one of Karolina's Gymboree classes.
This is Easter 1998. Our little family. It was in the middle of my Mo*nic*a Lew*ins*ky days. Yes, I was mistaken for Miss L more than once. Fun, and not so fun.
However, I can see the resemblance...And, I can also see how YOUNG we were!!!
So, I enjoy digging out old photographs, and I hope YOU enjoy looking at them.
More to follow, I promise!
Today's another Tuesday.
And, I hope you all are having the best of days!
