The end of November.
Thanksgiving is over.
It is almost Christmas.
During the month of December, I will turn this blog into a Christmas blog, more or less.
We are going to live and breath Christmas.
I hope you will join my Christmassy crazy self along the way!
Picture from Reston Town Center right now.
Here is the link to the show “Vaken” (Awake) on National Swedish Radio.
Well, it will be a bit hard for you non Swedish speakers to understand it, but for the rest of you; listen away.
I’ll participate there again in the future.
The weather here in DC has been a bit of everything lately.
It’s been cold, its’s been warm. Today and tomorrow it is supposed to rain all day,
That is good, we really do need the rain.
Most mornings now are frosty. Beautiful mornings.
I miss my morning walks, but I have to deal with it. I just have to have full trust in that I can take power walks and hikes after the surgery.
Well, after the physical therapy is over with.
But soon, soon.
I shot these pics last week as I was limping along the shores of Lake Audubon.
Pretty soon it is time to buy Christmas gifts.
I will have to limp from store to store in order to do so. But, on the other hand it is SO easy to shop online these days.
Today I am heading to The Mothership a.k.a IKEA with my friend Lotta.
That will be nice.
Later on this week, the Swedish gang is heading over to a German specialty food store that also happens to sell a lot of Scandinavian goodies. I am looking forward to that trip as well.
Well, this is just a little chit-chat post. I hope you all will have a good, and calm, Tuesday.
