What is going to happen today?
Who will be this nations next president?
It feels like this election has been the strangest ever.
Two candidates going neck to neck.
However, one of them started this “bad blood”. One of them laid the ground for THAT awful tone that has been the theme during the debates, and thru this entire process. That person was NOT the strong woman who’s running for president. Hillary did NOT set the tone. Oh no, she did NOT!
I am with her ALL they way!
I really hope she wins. Hillary, you’re amazing.
I hope that United States will elect its first female president this evening.
I hope that this day, will indeed, be an historical day.
I think Hillary’s biggest “problem” is that she is a-- indeed-- a woman.
It is so very hard for some (especially white) men to accept the fact that the next US president could be a woman.
Also, it seems to be a problem for some women? Do not ask me about that one. Because I do not understand how a single woman can post her vote for DT. I just cannot wrap my thoughts around it.
Thanks to this blog I got interviewed by Swedish Public Radio on Friday.
The segments are broadcasted during a span of three days. Yesterday, today and then we are going downtown early tomorrow morning to participate live from George Washington University.
It is so weird and bizarre to hear yourself on radio. SO bizarre!
It is nerve wrecking to say the VERY least.
But, I am glad that I did say yes, and I am happy that I got the ladies, Anna and Susanna, to participate with me!
Here is one short link!
Below is the link from the longer segment. But you will have to scroll ALL the way to the end of the show in order to hear us. Sorry that this is all in Swedish, but that is the way it is.
More today, but I'll post those links tomorrow!
Strange days on every single level right now.
And today, may SHE win!
May we welcome our first female president this evening!
