They are in Stockholm fighting the jetlag, the snow and the darkness. But, hey, I think they are settling in pretty well...
I miss them, though!
But, I know we'll see each other soon again.
My niece made this pan-holder for me, it says "bake cookies"...Ebba is such a crocheter, and knitter...
So, now my life is pretty much back to normal. And so is my weekly series "This Week", as you can see.
Today I will head out for my first PW in over two weeks.
The weather is nice so it should be a nice walk.
Ebba made this little penguin for Karolina. These little crocheted animals are called amigurumis. They are so cute!!
It is real fall now, a season that I love so much. I love everything that comes with it, from the falling leaves to the colder temperatures. And, since I enjoy making a warm and cozy enviroment it IS cozy inside my home these days.
The coziness factor is the most important factor when it comes to your home. Always.
And, this is my garden right now. All the Impatiens (flitiga Lisa) are pretty much gone due to the frost, but the Hydrangeas are still going strong. Oh, how I love that plant, and those flowers.
The leaves are turning yellow, and a lot of trees are already bare.
No, I don't mind it one bit.
You can still find little miniature pumpkins in my garden...
The Hydrengea keeps on blooming.
Here is another one, from a different plant.
Here is a song that I love. When I listen to it I get goose-bumps. Eva Cassidy's singing "Autumn leaves". Eva with the voice of an angel, Eva who only got to be 33 years old before melanoma took her life. Eva who held concerts in DC at the Blue's Alley in Georgetown (she hailed from Metropolitan DC), and I never got to see her live. I can just kick myself over that fact. She was fantastic, just listen to her sing!
The golfcourse seen from my deck yesterday afternoon.
It is fall...
...for sure. The leaves keep on falling...
I hope all is good with all my readers!
