Good morning to you all!
I hope all is good and well with you this Tuesday morning!
Today, I will let my post explode with pictures from the wonderful wedding we attended down in Williamsburg, Virginia over the weekend.
The groom, Chris, is the oldest son of my good friends, and neighbors, Ingrid and Richard.
He got married to his Kelly on Saturday evening.
It was such a beautiful and fun wedding.
SO glad to have been invited to it.
I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Have a good Tuesday!
The wedding ceremony took place outside. It was quite cold and windy. But, the venue was just stunning. The couple got married here.
Other neighbors, and good friends, from the street where I live.
Here comes the mother-of-the-groom, Ingrid, and her youngest sons. Yes, they are twins!
The bridal couple. And yes, it was SO windy!
You may now kiss the bride.
The father-of-the-bride, Ingrid (the m-o-g), the-mother-of-the-bride and Richard (the f-o-g). Ingrid looked so damned good. I think she looks like Silvia, the queen of Sweden.
My neighbors Sara, Brad and their three daughters; Lauren, Meghan and Abby.
Can we enter the ballroom now? Announcement of the groom's parents!
Ingrid and her pretty sister Kristina.
And, here they are!! The newlyweds!
Beautiful evening light!
Time to cut the cake!
This was a great twist, I thought! As the couple left we all carried big sparkling sticks as we formed a triumphal arch. This is the first time I've seen sparkling sticks at a wedding. But I think it is quite common to use these at weddings these days. I really like this idea!
