I hope all is good with you!
I cannot believe that it is almost Thanksgiving! I don’t understand where the fall went? AND, I don’t understand that it is almost December, because this month sure IS flying!
It is scary!
We have booked our tickets to NYC. We’re leaving next Friday and I am looking forward to it so much!
NYC in the fall is the perfect place to be.
We have already booked the restaurants we will eat at. Half of the fun in going up to NYC is the restaurants! That city is like a gold mine when it comes to awesome places to eat! But, since we have the daughter with us we will have to go see a Broadway show as well. Karolina told us that she could eat at McDonald’s all weekend long, but that she did NOT want to miss a Broadway show, so we booked tickets to the musical “Shrek” that Karolina had heard so many great things about.
Thanks to a blogging friend of mine, Saltis, who lives in NYC, we went on her recommendations on restaurants from her blog. Perfect.
Yes, we’ll see Saltis when we’re up there, of course!
Christmas is approaching! Fast! I cannot believe that it is time to start buying gifts. Actually, I have already bought a few! And, as you all know I sorta kinda like Christmas shopping (HEY, I like shopping any time of the year, but it is so EXTRA cozy around the holidays).
SO, what I wish for Christmas FOR ME is a little notebook laptop, a tiny 10 inch PC. My friend has one, and she loves it! And, now I think I want one as well…
How convenient wouldn’t that be? Imagine, I just throw my little PC in my purse and then I am off. What a difference from my regular (highly beloved) VAIO PC that has an 18 inch screen! It is so bulky and big to tag along.
SO, do you, any of you, dear readers, have a little notebook? Do you like it? What brand do you prefer? And, hey, wouldn’t a little notebook be a perfect gift for a serious blogger, as myself ;-) ?
Speaking of Christmas! I just ordered a calendar from my favorite place, My Publisher (yes, that place should start paying me now for all the good words that I have put out for them here on my blog). The calendar contains my own photos, and you can put all holidays and birthdays in there. I have also put all the Swedish holidays in ours. I love My Publisher, the quality is always top of the line, and the program is so easy to work with. So, if you want to give away a calendar, or a photo book, MY Publisher is the place to go to.
It is warm here on the east coast right now! Yes, it really is. However, I think this is the last warm day, and then it will gradually become more seasonal.
I am not a fan of 74 degree weather in November. When I am out on my daily PW’s I can tell how the warm weather does affect me, I sneeze and I feel a bit allergic. You can tell that there are so many molds in all the falling leaves.
No, bring on colder temperatures! But, yes, the sun can keep on shining…
Have a good Tuesday
*** Anne in Maryland just told me that the little notebooks are called NETbooks!! SO that is the correct name for them! Thanks Anne, I had no idea that these little cute mini's went by that name. Netbooks! Let me know what you think of them!
