Morning to the WORLD!!
I hope all is good and well with all of you on this Tuesday in mid-November.
I am SO not agreeing with the current warm weather.
This Swedish chick has a HARD time standing it.
No, it is not natural with 75 degrees in November. Would it be POSSIBLE to PLEASE get 50 degrees!?
Sure we don't need more rain now, so let's keep the sun!
As you all know I am on my quest of losing weight, and it is going so very well! I am agreeing with this form of diet, even though I can HONESTLY say that I miss the white carbs I am refusing by the moment (except on Saturdays, of course. Saturday is my FREE day. My eat-whatever-you-damn-want-day). I also miss the Weight Watcher diet I used to be on years ago, and IF I am continuing the diet after Christmas I will go back to WW again. No doubt.
I think you should be able to eat a bit of everything. Always. I don't believe in deprevation.
But, I can also tell you that now I have ONLY FIVE MORE POUNDS to go until I have reached MY GOAL!!!
My sister is a registered dietician, and she's the one who steered me in this direction. Thanks SIS!! It really does work! This is the diet they use at the weight loss center where she works in Sweden.
With diet comes exercising. It goes hand in hand! Always.
And, it is zero surprise to you, dear readers, that I take a long power walk every day.
Do you want to come with me? Come see my walk!
Day. November, 16.
Place: South Reston, VA.
Temperature: 70 degrees (20 degrees C).
In Reston you will find walking paths everywhere! As a matter of fact we have 55 miles of them in this suburb! It is quite unusual! But Reston is a so-called planned community and therefore it is a bit different than your regular burb. Needless to say; I love it!!!
And the grasshoppers were chirping like crazy down by the lake. It felt like summer...(no, not pleasant to me).
Floating verandas by the lake...
Peter and I call this area "the Swedish neighborhood". The houses sort of look like Swedish style cottages. I really like it, and I could consider living there...
MY companions. ALWAYS!! My pedometer, and my iPhone (where I have some of my music collection). I don't think I would be able to take my walks without these gadgets...
The pics are taken with my little Sony camera. I did not feel like schlepping around my big camera on my walk. Needless to say it was not as MUCH power in my steps as it usually is. I had to stop and take these pics time and again!
All right, have a good Tuesday! I am outie!! Yes, on my PW!!
