It is time for me to get back to my old routine: writing a bit in English every Tuesday.
However, today it will be mostly pics. I will give a so called "picture bomb". The pictures I am about to show you are all taken around our summerhouse in Närpes, Finland.
Yes, you probably all know by now that I think of that place as the best place on earth.
Skären- "the skerries"- is a place where you can REALLY kick back, be yourself, be with family. The laughs are plentiful, since we all love to joke around. The food is top notch, since we like to cook. The drinks are good. The card games are fantastic, since we all like to play cards!
The NIGHTS are light!
Actually, it never really gets dark in May, June and July.
Come along and have a look yourself!
July 19 is the name day (Sweden) for all the girls named Sara, so naturally we are celebrating my sister! She got a cake, some gifts and later on that day her hubby Håkan cooked dinner for all of us.
My mom and my grandma, Signhild.
Sara, the nameday girl herself.
Håkan's home made ice cream, the blueberries are from our own back yard.
Ebba and Karolina, cousins and best friends.
This is how it looks.
Out on a boat ride.
The eastern side of the island of Grytskär. Grytskär is a big island that is located very close to us. We took a little day trip to said island.
Grytskär is quite wide and it takes about 30-40 minutes to walk over to its western side and the open sea. This day it was SUPER HOT, I would think around 31 degrees C, around 90 F.
After a HOT, long walk we finally had reached Krok-huset, the Krok house. The house is a house that is open for all, and you can go in there, write in the guest book. If you want to you can even spend the night there...
But we continued west, and got to this...
...The western side of Grytskär, next stop if you were to take a boat over is Sweden...
The gang is arriving!
And, it felt so incredible good to swim in the water after the long, and hot walk, over...
Ah, but now I will end this little "bomb". I will continue the story about Grytskär later on this week...
