I took my first PW in over six days, and it felt so good.
It was also very satisfying to document this walk in pictures.
As you all can see in the pics below the leaves are still more green than they are yellow.
But, fall is coming on strong. Pretty soon we'll have an explosion of colors.
Temp: 60 F, 15 C
Route: Lake Audobon and Lake Thoreau.
Weather conditions: Calm and cloudy.
the nature is still more green than orange, for sure.
A typical American school bus.
This is Lake Audobon in Reston. One of the lakes I like to walk around.
SO calm and quiet.
A Maple tree in burning colors! Love it!
It's beginning to look a lot like autumn...
Lake Thoreau here in Reston. Both lakes are located next to each other.
The floating verandas are still going strong despite it being October.
Oh, and who's this? OH, but it is SÖT!!
So, that is part of my walk. I am sure we'll return later on this fall when everything is, indeed, "on fire".
I love this season. I just love fall.
And no, I have still not turned on the heat in the house. YAY!!
Have a very good Wednesday!!
