This Week: Scary Sarah

Morning, morning...

Today I had planned on writing something completely different, but then I had a change of heart and decided to write about Scary Sarah instead. I don’t write about politics very often, but right now I just have to vent a bit about Scary Sarah:
The more I read about her, the more I hear about her, the more I see her, the more she scares me.



Do people really want this right-wing-hyper-Christian-religious woman on the Vice Presidential post? The second most important post in the country. Heck, maybe even the second most important post in the world. What? A woman like her? Like Scary Sarah? Do women (and men, for that matter) really think it is ground breaking to have a woman like her in the VP wing? In my eyes she is going against women’s rights. I see no feminism in electing Scary Sarah VP. No, I see a person who wants to go backwards in so many ways. Scary Sarah is:

A woman who is against abortions even if the circumstances are rape or incest
A woman who is against sexual education in schools
A woman who wants to forbid and censor(some) books at public libraries (a free country???)
A woman who hates the whole gay/lesbian movement, and of course opposes all gay marriages.
A woman who believes in abstinence, and want the schools to teach nothing but abstinence.
A woman who is absolutely blind to global warming. Is it (global warming) really just” God’s way to hug us closer”? as the excellent Tina Fey said when portraying Scary Sarah in the TV-show SNL the past Saturday.
A woman who has a lifelong membership in the NRA, and thinks it is every man’s right to carry a gun.
A woman who actually thinks the school educators should forego the big bang theory and promote what the bible has to say about it. And use the bible as the only true theory.

LOOK, I don’t think so. Please, please don’t vote for her. I don’t think there has ever been a politician that has scared me this much. No, not even The Bush Man. Scary Sarah has ice in her veins. Is she really going to become VP? VP if the Republican Party wins, that is. Now it feels more important than ever to take a minute and just THINK a little bit about Scary Sarah’s so called “values” (a scary word by the way). Think long and hard on what she has to offer. Do you really want this for the US? And for the world?
