I hope your weekend was a good one.
Mine was good.
Good meals with wonderful company THREE nights in a row. You just gotta have to love that!
Social life so strong. By the moment, at least …
Shiny, blue and beautiful morning!
SO, so, SOOO windy and cold on the golf course.
Yesterday, I was heading out for my power walk at 7:30 in the morning. Business as usual, or so I thought.
BUT, the world was covered in ice.
Pretty soon I realized that my PW was a NO GO!! I had some choices , turn around and go back home or venture out onto the golf course. I picked the latter.
Some ice on the pond. I am glad I am not a goose ...
Sunrise, my time of the day!
It was not only ICY, it was WINDY as well.
But the world looked so beautiful. Like Narnia in places.
I just enjoyed it so much.
I did not bring my Canon. If I have had any kind of inkling of the beauty outdoors I would have brought it. So, therefore all the pics in this post are taken with my iPhone.
If there will be a another ice storm this winter, I’d so bring my DSLR!!
In the sun the trees looks like crystal.
This was a small little ice storm. Not a big one at all. Ice storms are a weather phenomena that you might experience once or twice per winter.
Sometimes they can be BIG and CRUEL. They are dangerous, and beautiful.
This was a little baby, infant, ice storm. This little baby storm did not cause any harm in traffic, or in nature, but it caused trouble for walkers, that is for sure!
Magnolia buds and ice ... As you can see the buds are looking good. No, this ice storm is no danger to them. They are not due to bloom until March.
Narnia and I ...
Ice, ice everywhere!!
I still hope we’ll get a real blizzard this winter.
As one of my friends said this weekend, IF it is going to be as cold as it has been this winter, it might as well SNOW!
I totally agree.
A scenery I just love!!
Morning light and magnolia buds!
And with this, I wish you ALL a wonderful Tuesday.
I can NOT resist crushing ice puddles as I walk along!
