Good morning Tuesday!
How do you like gray and rainy days?
Do you hate them?
Or, do they soothe your soul?
Do you find them calming?
Or, do you find them plain boring?
The mini-pumpkins still have a home on my front door table.
The Hollies are getting ready for Christmas.
The summer phloxes are almost out of here.
The owl stands in a sea of golden hostas.
I find them so serene and peaceful.
I thrive on gray days.
A gray day can be a day of reflection.
A gray day can also be a day when you hunker down on your couch underneath a blanket. You might be drinking tea, reading a book or watching Netflix all day long.
Mist, it does nature good. And, makes it beautifully dreamlike.
On Sunday it was gray and misty in my neck of the woods.
I grabbed my Canon and took it on a little camera excursion right outside my house.
You can take good pictures on a gray day.
The light is mild and soft. Forgiving.
A dogwood in the fall.
On my lower patio facing the golf course.
Also, it IS fall now. Our leaves are peaking as I write this. On a gray day the colors of the trees and bushes just pop.
Gray skies are the perfect canvas for the colors of fall.
I hope your weekend was good.
A new November week has started.
You guys, take care!!
I live to the left of this tree ...
