Summer IT IS in my neck of the woods.
It is SO hot, and humid.
Yes, we are talking temps around 34-35 degrees C (or 93-95 on the Fahrenheit scale).
Oh, and it is humid, too.
So, summer it is.
A nutella and pretzel milk shake. OH, how decadent!!
The weekend was good!
I made a kick ass good meal on Friday night.
I am not a big fan of regular, creamy (mayo based) potatoe salads. So, I made a Parisian potato salad (fransk potatissallad), and that was so incredibly good! I’ll make that one again very soon!
We also put some chicken breasts on the grill.
I love spending these kind of evenings on the deck.
In my little garden a summer morning in June.
Sunday afternoon was spent at Amanda’s graduation party.
Nice for the “Swedish kids” to get together again. They have all, more or less, grown up together.
Now three of them are in college.
One is about to start college, and one will graduate high school next year. Two of the girls will be in high school for another three years.
Time sure does fly.
Melanie, Elsa, Kristina and Karolina.
Here we almost have the entire group of Swedish kids. A few are missing. Karolina, Elsa, Amanda (the girl of the hour, the graduate), Max, Melanie and Kristina.
The heat and my arm.
Well, yes, that is not the best combo. I am out power walking again now. I wear a sling. It is OK.
But of course the arm gets a bit itchy, and a bit "heavy" because of the heat.
Oh well, I will just have to deal. That is nothing more to it.
I still enjoy coffee in the mornings outside, I walk and I do regular things.
As always, things could have been so much worse ...
The hydrangeas in my garden are SOOOOOO lovely now. This kind is called "endless summer" and it will bloom all the way until October.
