It is Tuesday again. Time for a post written in the English language.
As you might know, we have a lot of vineyards in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and particularly in Northern Virginia, where I happen to live.
The quality of the wine can be described as “so-so”. You cannot compare Virginia wines to California wines any day of the week. California wines are superior on every level.
Grapes at Bluemont.
The view from up here is amazing!
BUT, it is SUPER nice to spend an afternoon on one of the many vineyards we do have here.
Why? Because the wineries are usually so cozy, beautiful and easy going.
One of my favorites, or my number one favorite, is Bluemont Winery. That place is AWESOME!! It is located about half an hour from my house.
Bluemont is so very beautiful, gorgeous views and a great atmosphere. And as a matter of fact, some of the wines ARE totally all right.
My hubs and I.
Our wine flights. Since we both prefer red wine we got red flights.
Lots of people enjoying the day, views and the wine.
Love this food. SO much!
The entertainment was spot on this Sunday afternoon.
Recently this winery picked one of my Instagram pictures as The Winner of the Month. That made me happy!
I did not even participate in any contests, they just found my geotag (I geotag every pic that I take on Insta) and they picked a pic I shot at the vineyard last year.
SO, I won a little prize, two free wine flights and lunch!
Peter and I SO enjoyed our Sunday in Bluemont.
Here I am.
Virginia country side.
Yes, I am so happy to live in a world where the country side is so stunningly beautiful, and the wineries are plentiful.
And, on our way home we drove on windy country roads.
Have a good Tuesday!
