It is time for me to write a post in English again. It’s been a while since last time.
But, maybe I am falling into old routines again?
Anyway, this is a post about my beloved hometown, Stockholm.
Beauty on water.
Venice of the north.
One of the most stunning capitals in the world.
Norr Mälarstrand. One of my favorites in the city!
Yes, the weather was nothing but fantastic the entire time while in Stockholm. Almost unreal.
Every time I am out and about in Stockholm, I fall in love with the city again. Time and time again.
A love that is everlasting.
It is beautiful no matter what season it is.
You’ll always discover something new.
The view from my sister's place.
By the City Hall.
When I am in Stockholm, I cannot stop walking. I can easily walk from one part of the town to the next. I can walk for hours. And I do, every time.
I have my sister, she’s an avid walker. I have friends that do nothing but walk.
When I am with them we can walk 20 kilometers without even thinking about it. Sure, we might take a break, or two. Maybe we’ll enjoy a perfect shrimp sandwich? A glass of wine? A true Swedish fika (coffee break) maybe?
Needless to say, Stockholm is the perfect city for walkers.
The City Hall. OMG, how I love that building. I always have, I always will!
In the park of Kungsträdgården.
I know the city so very well. Of course I do, I am born there, after all. I can find my way no matter where I get dropped off. I also think that I can walk the entire city.
It is not bigger than that.
BUT, in order to do so you have to have stamina.
Heck, if you do not want to walk this lovely city the mass transits are great, both the subway system and the bus system.
Classic Swedish delish shrimp sandwich. I can never get enough.
The statue Pax in Djurgården.
Stockholm, I cannot wait to see you again!
My lovely, and beloved, hometown.
