It’s been a while since the last time I published an EFIT on my blog.
EFIT stands for A photo an hour.
Or, Ett Foto i Timmen, in Swedish.
I have always liked to read other bloggers EFIT-posts. And, I tend to post an EFIT myself every now and then.
Here is what really happened a totally, regular Monday in May.
Nothing more, nothing less. Come along with me!!
I wake up early, around 6:15, every day. Not because I have to. No, the reason is that I just cannot sleep later in the mornings. But, I get out of bed around 7. I picked up the morning paper, and I looked at the headlines (I read the actual paper a bit later). Yes, we still subscribe to the paper-edition of The Post. We like it that way.
Power walk! It was such a lovely warm morning. No rain! I enjoyed this walk so much!!
You know that much dreaded task? Grocery shopping? Yeah, I had to do just that. This time at Safeway.
Out and about.
And, look at me. I did take a photograph while driving. Bad me. BAD!
And, you just have to make sure to empty out that dishwasher of yours.
Well, well, well ... At CVS Pharmacy to pick up antibiotics for Karolina. She has strep-c. An unusual strep infection, apparently. Not fun. She has no other symptoms but a bad, bad cough. I am glad her doctor had a strep culture run on her, and that she sent it off to the lab even though the initial strep test showed nothing at all. Kind of not fun though. And, both Karolina and I googled strep-c as maniacs. Well, we shall hope that this round of antibiotics will take care of the problem.
Sure, laundry has to be taken care of as well ...
Well, they keep on saying that the bad weather is OVER now. SO, I armed myself with some cleaning supplies and started to clean up the deck. Maybe we can start using our beloved deck again this week?
They spoke too soon. A thunder storm rolled in and dumped TONS of rain over us. SO much for the cleaning ...
This is right outside my front door. These used to be lawns. Now it is in the process in being converted into a perennial, native plant garden by our home owners association. I don't know what to think. YET. But, I hope it will all look good once it is all done.
I am starting to write the post you are reading now.
We are watching a show on The History Channel that we like, Alone. Totally fascinating.
We were also watching some of our favorites on YouTube-- you know-- thru hikers on The Appalachian Trail.
I am heading off to bed. Yes, can you spell OBSESSED!? I got some new A.T books from Amazon. Yes, yes...I know... Peter and I DO have new exciting hikes planned.
Usually I turn out my bed stand light around 23:00.
