Elon, dressed for fall...
Elon University delivers each and every time.
The beauty of the campus stuns me again and again.
We have had a wonderful weekend at Elon. It was so fun to spend a fall weekend there. We brought our good friend Keith along this time as well. It was the first time he visited the campus, and needless to say, he loved it.
The weather was chilly this time around. But, it did NOT matter. When we got there, Saturday afternoon, it was crispy cold and so clear.
And--oh--that Carolina Blue sky!!
Karolina is volunteering in a consignment shop in nearby Burlington during some weekends this semester.
We did not see her until late afternoon. In the meantime, the three of us were just strolling around campus, and I took a LOT of pictures!!
Elon, fall becomes you!
When we were moving Karolina into her dorm in August we were almost dying, from the HEAT and HUMIDITY!! IT was SO incredibly hot then. What a difference three months make.
The next time we'll go down?
Very soon, we'll go when we pick her up for her Christmas break in the beginning/middle of December.
She'll be home for Thanksgiving, of course (yes, she will be back in a week from now today).
As you can see I could not stop taking pictures.
And, after hanging with Karolina in her dorm for an hour we went out to dinner. Karolina brought a really good friend of hers along. It really is fun to meet all Karolina's new friends.
I am so HAPPY that she has SO, so many new friends all over the campus. It makes my heart expand with happiness!
I'll show you some more pics tomorrow!
It is cold here in NoVA. COLD, breezy...
I wish you all a nice Tuesday!!!
