HI! Good Morning, dearest readers!
We are back home again after a great trip to The Big Apple!
We left DC last Wednesday. Let me tell you, it was a bitter cold day!
When boarding the train in Washington DC I felt a bit like Anna Karenina must have felt when she boarded the train in Saint Petersburg, it was just as icy cold, and the train was almost as icy as Karenina's train, haha!!
However, it was nice, warm and cozy onboard the train.
And, then we got to NYC! OMG!! It was as frigging as COLD as could be there!
But, our hotel was located just four blocks from Penn Station, so we were A-OK. But, guess how much we were freezing?
I cannot remember the last time I have been freezing this much. It was GRUESOME!! The cold weather stayed with us during our entire stay.
Colombia Circle in the COLD!!!
Saltis (my dear, dear blogging-friend in NYC) and I met up for a nice cup of coffee!!
Saltis, Peter and Karolina.
Central Park during the blue hour, the magic hour!!
My daughter after her Syracuse audition.
On Saturday, I had a nice blog-get-together with four fellow Swedish bloggers. All of them, except me, live in Connecticut. It was so fun to see them all. We were chatting and laughing. Blog--and girl-- power!! Taina, Lotta (Kalaslotta), AnnMarie and Lotta (Charlie). AS you can see the cameras were going strong. We are ALL bloggers, after all!!
I have borrowed this picture from Lotta's blog! Nordic chics in the city!!
And, the auditions?
Well, I will tell you all about them tomorrow. I am pretty beat as I write this.
But, let me tell you, the auditions went as well as they could have.
More about all that later!
Have a nice Tuesday!
