now I have had some time to adjust.
Life is slowly going back to normal.
It is WARM here in the DC area. And, I mean warm.
The temperature has gone from cold to warm in no time at all.
The nature is going to explode in a symphony in colors.
The cherry trees in DC ARE blooming now. I have no idea whether I will be going downtown, or not.
Today, I will bring the Canon along for my morning walk. It is SPRING in the air, or should I say summer?
It was 29 degrees C in the afternoon yesterday. Crazy!!
But, the first day my dearly beloved visitors were here we had such COLD, ice cold, temps.
We even had a lot of snow.
Here are some more pics from the visit.
Gosh, I miss them! The gang!
I cannot wait to see them again.
Let's bring on a (big?) picture bomb, shall we?
As I said, the first Monday the gang was here we had a snow storm. What a dang-on surprise, March 25. It is unheard of. It was SNOWING all day, but the snow melted and most of it was gone 24 hours later.
We were in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia last Monday. That historical town is so pretty and have so much history from the Civil War.
Lunchtime, yes bar-b-que
The bridge over the Potomac River.
Erik, myself and Ebba
Two sisters, me and Sara
Old Town Alexandria, always a joy to visit!
Yes, the iPhone does take good pictures...
Old Town is located by the Potomac as well. It is close to DC on the VA side of the river.
My beautiful niece Ebba.
Cousins! Same age! Great friends!
In Bluemont, Virginia. What a beaut of a day!
From this vineyard you can see forever and ever and ever...
We really enjoyed this, and I am so happy that Sara and Håkan could experience this with us.
In the summertime the grapes here will be plentiful. Lovely nature.
Another winery nearby, Tarara.
A Sideways moment.
Magnolias in bloom.
And, sure, I have more pics. But, I will show you guys those pics later on in this week.
Today the weather will be, yes almost HOT. Weird.
I will take a camera walk so y'all will get to see how it looks here right now.
Have a good Tuesday!
